WHAT TO EXPECT
We understand that the thought of having a root canal can seem scary, but it doesn't have to be! Our goal is for you to be as informed, knowledgable, and comfortable with all aspects of the procedure as possible. Here you'll read more about what to expect before, during, and after your procedure + information on billing & insurance.
Looking for new patient forms? You can find those here.
PRIOR TO CONSULATION
Most of the time, your dentist will refer you to our office. It is helpful if you or your dentist supply us with the appropriate information (tooth number, current symptoms, etc.) prior to your appointment.
Please feel free to call us (970) 243-7392 or submit this form online, so that we can appropriately serve you.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
After receiving and reviewing your information, we will schedule a consultation with Dr. Clark. We assess the x-rays sent over by your dentist -- sometimes taking new x-rays -- and discuss treatment options available to you. In fact, the procedure may start immediately depending on schedule and severity of the situation.
THE PROCEDURE
Most treatments are completed in one visit. Before treatment begins, you will receive local anesthesia to numb any sensations you may feel during the procedure. If the procedure is unable to be completed within one visit, an antibacterial medication may be placed inside the tooth between appointments. Once your procedure is complete, final X-rays are taken and sent back to your dentist's office with a complete report of your individual treatment.
POST TREATMENT / FOLLOW UP
You will be provided with a post operative instruction sheet that includes recommendations and what to expect over the next few days after your procedure. Be sure to contact Dr. Clark or Dr. Fante (contact info below) if you have any questions or concerns regarding your treatment.
BILLING / PAYMENT PLANS
Payment is due at the completion of the procedure. For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards, personal check, or cash. If you wish, feel free to give us a call at (970) 243-7392 to discuss pricing of procedures (with and without insurance). We also offer Care Credit which allows for you to setup a 6 month interest free loan for dental services. You must apply for these services at www.carecredit.com. All arrangements must be made prior to your visit.
INSURANCE / PRICING
Please give us a call at (970) 243-7392 to further discuss accepted insurance, estimated co-pays, and pricing for procedures.
